Airborne 5
Airborne 5 / 50Ω – coaxial cable
Low Loss cable – double shielded
The Airborne 5 cable is suitable for a frequency range up to 6 GHz. The RF conductor has a limited flexibility and is recommended for wireless communication applications.
The good attenuation values are achieved by a low-loss PE dielectric medium with a gas content of more than 70%, as well as by the inner conductor and the double shielding from pure copper.
Application fields: news and wireless communication technology: e.g. laid aerial cables, low attenuation and stray radiation resistant,
Airborne 5 (Sheath colour: black) 50 Ω; Temperature range from -45°C up to +70°C

Special Characteristice:
The Airborne 5 LowLoss is a 5.0 mm thick high-frequency cable and has the same outer diameter as the common and well-known Aircell 5 or RG58. However, special connectors are required due to the thicker inner conductor. (alternative is the low loss cable RF195 )
Available connectors for Airborne 5
- BNC plug and coupling
- N plug and socket
- TNC plug and socket
- UHF plug
- SMA plug and socket
- RP-SMA plug and socket

Tip:
For a slightly more flexible coaxial cable with low loss properties, we also recommend the H155 PE.
Cable with larger outer diameter: Belden H155, AIRCELL®-7, H-2007®,
More Low Loss Kabel: LMR-195_Low Loss®, LMR-195 UF_Low Loss® , 7806A_Low Loss, CLF200_Low Loss, H-155
