FRNC (Flame Retardant Non Corrosive)
Im Gegensatz zu PVC-Kabeln erzeugen FRNC-Kabel und Koaxialkabeln nur sehr geringe toxische Rauchgase. Deshalb eignen sie sich besonders für Innenräume und sind in öffentlichen Bereichen sogar Vorschrift, da beim Verbrennen von PVC giftige Dämpfe entstehen, die ein Risiko für die menschliche Gesundheit darstellen können. FRNC-Koaxialkabeln werden auch in schlecht belüfteten Bereichen, wie Autos, Flugzeuge, U-Bahn oder Schiffen verwendet. Diese Material wird für den Kabelmantel oder Innenkabeln gleichermassen verwendet. Bei anderen Herstellern auch unter: LSNH oder LS0H bekannt. Norm: IEC60332-1-2
